Samjhana Rai very talented girl from Bhutan share her views so that World will

know about Kho-Kho in Bhutan.Kho-Kho is spreading across the world whether

it's Asia, Africa Or Europe.

Q1. What inspires you to start Kho-Kho?

Ans. I was inspired because it develop my qualities such as: obedience,

discipline, sportsmanship and loyalty between team members. We never

played such game before in our country so I was to eager to play and

learn more about the kho kho.

Q2. Why you started Kho-Kho?

Ans. I started Kho-Kho to keep myself physically active, flexibility,

agility, strength, speed, and stamina. And it was a traditional game

in India so as a game we the bhutanese also started to play the Kho-Kho.

Q3. How was your experience in International Kho-Kho coaching camp

in India. What you like and dislike in the camp?

Ans. The experience that I got from the international Kho-Kho coaching is

that I learned so many interesting things like - new idea about khokho,

I learn how to manage time, integrity and about leadership quality. I

learned that it was not only enjoyed by men and women but also by

children.The things that I like during camp is that we got a full

support and team corporation among all the countries.I like the most

is that in the coaching camp our leaders never different set between

anyone they treat us like their children. One things I like the most

is that the sopan hotel which we leave was very nice the manager

was very good and he treat us very well.

Q4. Who is your coach.What is he doing to train players of Bhutan.

Ans. Particularly we don't have Bhutanese Kho-Kho coach but seems last year

in 2019 we have one coach from India who introduced kho kho in Bhutan and

trained us . Just now he used to trained us through social media like we

have a Kho-Kho group in WhatsApp and in messenger.

Q5. What are the plans of Bhutan Kho-Kho to popularise Kho-Kho in Bhutan?

Ans. The plan of Bhutan kho kho to popularise Kho-Kho in Bhutan is by organizing

the programme. And we are planning to give coaching classes to the youth of Bhutan.

Q6. How you compare khokho with other games.As Kho-Kho is total brain and fitness game?

Ans. Kho-Kho was a total brain game compare to others game. In Kho-Kho we need a full team

corporation. We need more stamina, physical fitness, flexibility, agility, strength and speed.

Q7. Any Suggestions from your side to popularise Kho-Kho?

Ans. Suggestions from my side to popularise Kho-Kho is by arranging the work shops,

seminar and other events to sharpen the technical skills. By providing finacial

help to those those countries who cannot buy khokho mat to play.
